Marriage Celebrant

A little bit about me...

Photo Photo

I decided to become a marriage celebrant when I was on maternity leave with my first born. I had been working as a HR Manager and knew I wanted to delve into something that brought myself and others joy. I also liked the fact that the role would afford me the opportunity to be more present with my young and growing family.

I was conducting the role of celebrant in Sydney for a number of years before my husband and I decided to up and leave our apartment in North Sydney and move to the countryside in 2017.

Brett and I met when we were at school and we share a love of the country, having both grown up with family properties in regional NSW, Cowra (him) and Rockley (me.)

We wanted the kids to be able to roam free in nature, have an appreciation for the land and the simple things in life. And for us, to live a slower, less rushed life.

Now with three wonderful children, the countryside in Orange is home. We are kept busy in the garden, looking after 22 cows, a pet magpie (called ‘Pie’), a huge worm farm and two handfuls of ducks.

Weddings are places filled with love and positive energy. I do believe who and what you surround yourself with, has a huge impact on how you feel and what you attract to your life.

Marriage is a gift, a dedication to love and friendship. There is such excitement, joy and satisfaction that comes from being part of a couple's special day.

Being the couple’s celebrant doesn’t mean arriving one hour before the ceremony on the day of the wedding. I meet with the pair on numerous occasions prior to the main event and hold a wedding rehearsal in the lead up to the ceremony day. I provide example vows, readings and other documentation to the engaged couple and then tailor a ceremony script based on their preferences. I also provide a copy of the script to the couple, to check off, prior to the day.

If you are holding your ceremony or looking to get married in Central West NSW, I would love to hear from you. In order to catch up for a brief no-obligation meeting, please complete the details below or via the 'Contact me' section.

OK enough about me... this is about you!
